There is one thing that is certain in Pitztal's winter: snow.

As the highest ski area in Austria, the Pitztal guarantees winter sports from autumn to spring.

This is not limited to alpine skiing and snowboarding. The Pitztal offers the best conditions for cross-country skiing, ice climbing, winter and snowshoeing. Further options include excursions with horse or husky sledges, as does a completely different motorsport experience in winter: snow and ice driving.

The options are as plentiful as the mountains are high. But you may also simply enjoy the beauty of the Pitztal winter wonderland and recharge your batteries.

Summer in the Pitztal means above all: pure nature.

And nature in Pitztal has a lot to offer.

With over 50 three-thousand-meter peaks and the countless waterfalls that cascade down spectacularly, the Pitztal touches you both subtly and powerfully.

Hiking trails literally start at the door of the Trenkwald Chalet, which can be either relaxing along the valley or on high-alpine tours.

In addition to mountain biking routes, the Pitztal is also a base for ambitious racing cyclists. The nearby natural pond is ideal for swimming, and there are rafting opportunities at the entrance to the valley.

Bouldering areas, various via ferratas, as well as a climbing park invite you to let off steam. And if you are looking for even more adrenaline rush, you can ski down the slopes with mountain carts, or jump from the suspension bridge into the Pitzenschlucht gorge while bungee jumping.

But no matter whether you are looking for a leisurely lingering or demanding exertion, above all in the imposing but at the same time touching nature of the Pitztal you will quickly find yourself, deep relaxation and simple, real well-being.
